  • Compassionate therapy in the California Bay Area

A safe, supportive space for personal growth and healing for adults and couples.

“And then the day came, when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ~Anais Nin

Life and relationships are full of twists and turns. Roadblocks and obstacles can obstruct our view, we can get lost, and even get into accidents. Sometimes we feel in control, but we keep making the wrong turn. When this happens, I like to explore what part of you is in the driver’s seat, and how to get the wise part of you back in front of the wheel.

I help people struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship challenges to let go of self-doubt, identify their underlying needs, develop wisdom and self-compassion, and embody their true self so that they can live life and show up in relationships with more peace, confidence, and clarity.

I approach therapy holistically from a mind, body, soul perspective with deep compassion and a supportive presence. Personal growth isn’t easy. Healing invites us to meet all the parts of ourselves which can feel uncomfortable. You are worthy of the wholeness and joy on the other side of it. I’m here as a support and guide as we navigate that process together.

Therapist Oakland – Individual and couples counseling in Oakland

I blend my 13 years of experience as a therapist with my training and wisdom as a meditation and yoga teacher. I integrate cognitive-behavioral modalities with body-based techniques such as mindfulness and nervous system regulation that deepen healing and help us embody who we truly are and aspire to be. Together, we heal the layers of the past that stand in the way of being present and fully ourselves.

My work is trauma-informed and compassion-based. Modalities that I use include Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic theory, Polyvagal theory, Inner Child Work, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Non-Violent Communication.
